Delivering with discipline for Sepat Phase 2A

MHB project team completed Sepat Phase 2A works and the platform successfully achieved its first oil gas.

After the successful sailaway of project components in April 2018, Sepat Phase 2A officially achieved its first oil on 23 June 2018 and completed the first oil 72 hours endurance on 30 June 2018. The platform is located approximately 200 kilometers from Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia.

MHB was awarded with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commission of Sepat Phase 2A topside and substructure on 21 April 2017 by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd. From the moment of contract award until ready for sailaway, the project team took 12 months in total to complete all the project components which consist of jacket (1,746 MT), piles (1,387 MT), Main Support Frame deck (659.63 MT) and Early Production System deck (725.89 MT).
