MHB is now ISO 37001:2016 certified

As a testimony of MHB’s commitment towards Integrity, we are pleased to announce that MHB is now ISO 37001:2016 certified on Anti-Bribery Management System. Our ISO certification was approved by the Certification Panel of SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd.

ISO 37001 is designed to guide organisation to prevent, detect, respond to bribery and to comply with laws, regulations, and other voluntarily commitments. Further, it also provides the requirements and guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an anti-bribery management system.

With the new implementation of Section 17A of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009, MHB takes integrity seriously and therefore measures were taken in advance to ensure that we comply with such laws and regulation, despite the law will only be in force in June 2020. MHB had embarked on the ISO 37001: 2016 on Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) journey since 2018.
