16 June 2022Safe Departure of LNGC Puteri Intan from MMHE West, Pasir Gudang, Johor
MMHE team in charge of repair and refurbishment of liquefied natural gas carrier (LNGC) Puteri Intan was one of the teams who worked around the clock committedly and dedicatedly throughout the first days of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
This 274.30-metre-long lady, owned by Eaglestar Shipmanagement (L) Pte. Ltd., arrived at MMHE West, Pasir Gudang on 24 April 2022 for her 28-day dry-docking and full course of maintenance works. During her stay, she underwent hull blasting & painting, stern tube renewal, windlass overhaul, cargo tanks nitrogen purging, main boilers work, high duty & low duty compressors overhaul, ballast pumps repair, electrical, and various piping & valves works.
LNGC Puteri Intan safely departed from MMHE West on 22 May 2022 with zero lost time injury (LTI).
