MHB’s Ramadan Donation Drive Brings
Shine to the Underprivileged 

In the spirit of giving and sharing, Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad (MHB) organised ‘Hand over of Donation to The Needy Residents 2019’ through its Corporate Social Investment initiative. About 30 employees together with the management team visited 31 needy families from Kampung Pasir Putih and Kampung Kong Kong and distributed groceries, cookies and duit raya (cash token) on 29 May 2019.

A strong sense of community prevailed amongst the colleagues as they spend their time and efforts in this voluteerism initiative as well as when interacting with the underprivileged family members. MHB employees rallied together to make this donation drive a great success. The donation drive which took place from 8 May until 21 May 2019, saw a generous collection from staff in Pasir Gudang and Kuala Lumpur.

On a separate occasion, Corporate Communications Department of MHB also handed over some portions of the cash donation to welfare organisations namely Persatuan Kebajikan Darul Hanan in Pasir Gudang and Asrama Kebajikan Ar Rayyan (Persatuan Insani Darul Takzim) in Johor Bahru.
