On Saturday, 22 January 2022, Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd (MMHE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad (MHB), graciously welcomed a courtesy visit by Vice Admiral Dato’ Abdul Rahman Ayob, Deputy Chief, Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN), and his entourage. The RMN delegates were welcomed by Encik Pandai Othman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO), Encik Ir. Hisham Haron, Senior General Manager, Marine Business, and Tuan Hj Mohamad Yusof Ahmad, Senior General Manager, Marine Operations.
To start off the visit, Encik Pandai gave a welcoming remark in which he thanked RMN for entrusting MMHE with the repair of their naval vessels, and that MMHE will continue to do its best in supporting RMN and delivering quality repairs. The delegates were then given a tour of MMHE West yard, during which they were shown the notable ship repair facilities, and visited their vessels that were currently in for repairs. During the visit, Vice Admiral Dato’ Abdul Rahman Ayob also expressed his positive impression of the yard’s facilities, as well as his confidence in MMHE’s capabilities to deliver in marine repair projects.
