Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE) has successfully achieved two certifications from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) certification body, namely; ISO 3834 – 2: 2005 (Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials – Part 2: Comprehensive quality requirements) and EN1090-1: 2009+A1: 2011 (Execution of steel structures and aluminium structures – Part 1: Requirements for conformity assessment of structural components).
The certifications process started in June 2019 and ended in February 2020. Achieving these certifications has proven MMHE’s capability to comply with European’s process and product requirements. With both the ISO 3834 – 2: 2005 and EN1090-1: 2009+A1: 2011 certifications in place, they will be our catalyst in exploring more opportunities in European markets.
