Update on COVID-19 Cases in MMHE (28 May 2020)

We would like to inform that as of today, there is 1 (one) suspected COVID-19 case involving an off-signing crew from a client’s vessel, Tanjung Sari, which is currently berthing at MMHE West.

The suspected person, who has signed-off and left MMHE West on 25 May 2020, has been referred to hospital yesterday on 27 May 2020. The suspected person’s test result for COVID-19 is still pending from the Ministry of Health (MoH).

MMHE is working closely with MoH to isolate the crews on board of Tanjung Sari vessel and has taken extra precautionary measures by testing all the remaining crews on board of Tanjung Sari for COVID-19. MoH will also perform decontamination activities on the vessel tomorrow, 29 May 2020. Tanjung Sari vessel is cordoned off until we receive clearance from MoH.

Employees are reminded to strictly adhere to MMHE’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which is in accordance to MoH’s recommended SOP, and to remain vigilant at all times.

Please continue to practise good personal hygiene and keep a look out for the MMHE COVID-19 communications which will be updated from time to time.

Info Terkini berkenaan Kes COVID-19 di MMHE (28 Mei 2020)

Kami ingin memaklumkan bahawa setakat hari ini, terdapat 1 (satu) kes suspek COVID-19 melibatkan seorang off-signing kru dari kapal pelanggan, Tanjung Sari, yang kini berlabuh di MMHE West.

Orang yang disuspek, yang telah pun keluar dan meninggalkan MMHE West pada hari Isnin, 25 Mei 2020, telah dirujuk ke hospital semalam, 27 Mei 2020. Keputusan ujian kes suspek COVID-19 ini masih belum diterima daripada Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM).

MMHE bekerjasama dengan KKM untuk mengasingkan kru kapal Tanjung Sari dan telah mengambil langkah tambahan berjaga-jaga dengan membuat ujian COVID-19 ke atas semua kru yang berada di atas kapal Tanjung Sari. KKM juga akan melakukan aktiviti pembasmian di atas kapal esok, 29 Mei 2020. Kapal Tanjung Sari telah dikepung dan ditutup sehingga mendapat pelepasan daripada KKM.

Para pekerja diingatkan untuk mematuhi Tatacara Operasi Standard MMHE yang dilaksanakan seperti yang disyorkan oleh KKM dan sentiasa berwaspada pada setiap masa.
