Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad (MHB)’s annual report for financial year 2019 has successfully addressed the Australasian Reporting Awards (ARA) Criteria and has achieved Silver Award in the 2020 ARA Awards. This award was announced at the 2020 ARA Virtual Awards Presentation on 24 June 2020. The annual ARA Awards are open to all organisations in Australia, New Zealand, and countries in the Asia-Pacific Region that prepare an annual report: companies, government departments and agencies, and not-for-profit bodies including charities.
Our annual report which was produced in March 2020 has been recognised for the second consecutive year for providing quality coverage for most of the ARA criteria which include satisfactory disclosure of key aspects of our business and outstanding disclosure in at least one major area.
On a different occasion, FTSE Russell (the trading name of FTSE International Limited and Frank Russell Company) confirmed that Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd (MHB) has been independently assessed according to the FTSE4Good criteria and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series. Created by the global index provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. The FTSE4Good indices are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.
